MARC T. GILES
President and Chief Executive Officer,

Marc T. Giles was named President and CEO in November 2001. A Gerber employee since December 2000, Mr. Giles joined the company as President of its Gerber Technology subsidiary from FMC Corp., Chicago, a $4 billion producer of machinery and chemicals for industry and agriculture. During his 12-year tenure with FMC, he held a number of senior positions in sales and marketing management, strategy development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to his career at FMC Corp., Mr. Giles spent ten years with Norton Co., Worcester, Mass., serving in various sales, business development and marketing roles.

Mr. Giles is a graduate of Union College, Schenectady, N.Y. and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Greater Hartford chapter of the American Red Cross.
