SOUTH WINDSOR, CT – Gerber Scientific, Inc.’s (NYSE: GRB) Gerber Technology Division (GT), an integrated software and automation systems provider to the apparel and flexible goods industries, last week introduced the newest versions of its innovative AccuMark and WebPDM software tools at IMB 2003 trade show in Cologne, Germany.

AccuMark V8 dramatically improves the design process for customers in the apparel, transportation interiors, furniture and industrial fabrics industries. Increased flexibility and functionality are attained through a variety of new features including powerful new notch controls, advanced seam allowance and corner generation, pattern conversion wizards and a report utility which allows users to suggest product enhancements or ask technical questions directly via the Internet. AccuMark is available in over 20 languages and is currently in use by more than 10,000 customers.

WebPDM V4 is the latest release of the world’s leading apparel and retail Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solution. While incorporating many new product features and functionality, WebPDM V4 offers substantial new levels of scalability and browser-client capabilities by enabling remote users and partners to simultaneously interact and collaborate with each other. WebPDM is available in 12 languages and is currently in use by more than 1,000 companies in over sixty countries.
