SUBSIDIARY - Expands Wide-Format Imaging Capabilities For Small- To
Mid-Sized Customers In U.S. SOUTH WINDSOR, CT, December 11, 2002 -- Gerber Scientific, Inc.’s (NYSE: GRB) sign making and specialty graphics subsidiary, Gerber Scientific Products, Inc. (GSP), unveiled the most recent addition to its growing portfolio of world-class imaging systems at the United States Sign Council (USSC) show, Atlantic City Convention Center. The Gerber Jetster is a new wide-format piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet printer designed to provide industry professionals with an extensive range of applications. Printing directly onto a variety of specially treated vinyls and other materials, all of which have been tested and certified by GSP for use with the Jetster, it accommodates media widths of up to 62 inches and offers resolutions ranging from 180 dpi to 1440 dpi with exceptional image quality. Additionally, its eco-solvent inks are practically odor-free and complement GSP’s existing family of environmentally friendly, user-safe imaging technologies. Marc T.
